Meet Poonam,

Founder of Here & Listening

While in many ways with technology etc we are more connected than ever, we are also a population that is lonelier than ever.

Conversations now more and more take place over text leaving you guessing someone’s tone and constantly waiting on the other side for friendships and relationships to form once your phone goes off…….

People don’t feel heard and are craving for people to just listen to them with empathy and without judgement.

This is where I had the idea for Here and Listening now.

In my professional field and in my personal field in helping people, I could see that people just wanted someone to give them the time to listen to them at any time they needed.

They do not want to wait around for every other week appointments with a therapist but they want to speak to someone on their timing and discuss whatever is needed that time.

Sometimes, it is easier to say how you feel to a stranger.

Empathetic listeners provide a safe space for you to express your feelings and concerns and to be heard without judgement.

This kind of support is crucial especially around challenging times in our lives.
